This is the largest Pleuro. known. The leaves are very large and these flowers are about 3-4" tall. My titan has taller growths but smaller leaves. The plant stands close to 2 feet tall, the leaves are over a foot long. Sorry I didn't get a full plant shot.

I remember you saying that there were some large pleuros, Ron. Thanks for a photo of one. I like the way pleuros bloom on top of the leaves. I could probably grow one like this. Pretty bloom.

Bruce, Acronias are really easy compared to some others. They aren't a fickler for super high humidity. I grow these in a bark mix that is kept moist. Bright light...about the level that I grow strap-leafed Paphs in.

If you want to start out small...the palliolata has decent sized flowers and the plant is only 6" tall

Great growing, Ron! Do you have to grow yours cool, too? The spot they are found is supposedly shady and cooler...

Patrick the lows in the greenhouse are 60 in the winter with a bit of a cooler temp in the fall prior to heat being turned on. I have it in fairly bright shade with just some late afternoon sun. From looking at the leaves, I may have to cut that back a hair. I also have titan in bloom.
