This plant was almost ridiculous in how much it bloomed last Christmas! I bought it in bloom at thanksgiving and it had 5 spikes, continued to bloom past New Years.
This year it has one small spike (I think its a spike), but I am just pleased that it caome back from some rot during the summer. Gotta love those intergenerics!

Very nice display and well photographed. The "official" name of your plant is just plain ol' Burr. Stefan Isler (no cambria).

Ok "cambria" is some other intergen. I guess. My dad who is semi-prop photographer, takes many of the pics- all of the ones with a black backround. This one really stands out against the black velvet curtain backround. I have shown him some of the pics others on this site and he is really impressed with the quality of them all.

Actually, I have done some research on the whole Cambria phenomenon since many plants in big box stores here are sold as that, erroneously. As far as I know there is only one plant correctly with cambria in its name - Vuylstekeara cambria.

In most cases however the name cambria is a nonsense name made up and used by some commercial breeders (especially in the Netherlands, it seems), most often used for random/unknown combinations of intergenerics, but I have also seen phals listed under "cambria" on a website. However, other than the one I mentioned above, none of the plants are really called cambria since it is essentially a made up name.

You are correct. The RHS registers Vuyl. Cambria as Vuyl. Rudra x Odont. Clonius
