I found a couple the other day myself gilda. The ones that I saw were located on highway 276 near the cradle of forestry in pisgah national forest. Thise are some of the prettiest native orchids that I have seen. Thanks for sharing!

if you missed this one, Momokev, you probably missed the "Natives are Restless" post that has some closeups of flowers of the same species (only growing in FL rather than more northward).
