    This little lady just keeps extending the flower spike and has been flowering for the entire summer! The fragrance fills the GH with sweetness all day...a real joy for me and I trust you'll all enjoy it, too.

    I love that color! Does it fade after the flower has been open awhile? Also, where did you purchase the orchid? I've never seen anything like it at the orchid shop by my house.

    Yes, sadly, like with many orchid flowers, the color and scent fade with time. I purchased this plant from a local grower about a year ago who was selling everything and moving to northern Michigan and getting out of the business. I arrived on Friday about 10AM and found 40% to 50% of her stock had gone out the door already....I was lucky to snag this lady! I'm sure you can do a search and find crosses with bellina and violacea.
