dellenatii x conco-bellatulum = SEQUENTIAL?

I just bought a blooming orchid that the tag says is

Paph. Yospur (dellenatii x conco-bellatulum) It is sequential/multi buds, and has one flower open and several more buds in developing stages.

My question is: are either of these considered sequentially flowering species? I thought that these are both single flower per growth species. Does anyone know?

PS-I will post a pic once the next bud opens because the open flower has some shipping-related damage to it.

PPS-I really like it, so all in all I don't really care what it is!

The description is covering all bases I think. The flowering depends on which parent it follows. The delenatii will cause it to have more than one flower, probably 2 at most. They can flower as one open plus bud and maybe the 2 out together or the first open flower drop and the bud open. It may have only one flower if the Conco-bell' is followed with the odd chance of 2 flowers. It also depends on your culture. If you are an extremely good grower of these types of Paphs, the chance of 3 flowers per spike would increase but highly improbable.

While is not uncommon for Paph concolor and Paph delenatii to have two and occasionally three flowers on an inflorescence, they are not considered sequential bloomers. The sequential bloomers are in the group that includes chamberlainianum, primulinum, glaucophyllum, and their related kin. These plants flower one flower at a time with the next opening at about the time the previous flower fades. They are capable of blooming 20 + flowers over a two year period from the same inflorescence.

Thanks Ron! I am glad to know that it is what the tag says it is. I really like it, and I am thrilled that it has several buds.
