    Default Vandas merrillii and sanderiana

This particular Euanthe sanderiana was found in Cotabato province in southwestern Mindanao island in 1951, and was brought to Cebu, where it was grown. In 2004 the owner sold what has become a huge clump. My dealer sold me one clump with six stems.

    The merrilli has no story.
    I experimented with the background.

the Vanda sanderiana is stunning! It looks as if every bloom faces out so they can be admired from any direction. Thank you, Nelson. This is just magnificent.

    Cheers,

I find the history of orchids very interesting and from the sound of it we haven't heard the rest of the story yet. Thank you for showing us some of it.

    hi nelson,
lovely waling waling and the story to it is fantastic, if only flowers could talk!

i like the blue background, brings out the darker colours of the bloom and looks more natural like a blue sky.
