I was in Hong Kong this week and found myself with some time free during lunch. Decided to take the MTR to Prince Edward station and visit the Flower Market. Wish I had brought a camera - imagine 2 city blocks of storefront nurseries and cut flower shops!

The D. Anosmums were out in force, mostly the semi-Alba variety.

I found the scent on this little one irresistable:




The scent is quite hard to describe; very delicate and sweet, hints of osmanthus and lavender? For HKD 50 (USD 6.50), I couldn't resist and took the risk of buying something I wasn't sure would survive in Singapore.

Anyone knows what it is?

You got that for under 7 Dollars!! That is awesome. I don't know the bloom, but someone here probably will. The fragrance sound you describe sounds very nice. Good luck with it.
