Purple Phal

A Phal NOID i picked up for my mum.She loves the purple 1 & this 1 is really purple.The piccie doesn,t really do it justice.

My "mum" loves phals too. Particularly the purple/magenta ones, and she'd love your pretty one! We went recently to a sale at the Lyman Estate Greenhouse and she bought two new Phals. One was a nice awarded cross, I don't recall the name, but I told her she'd best hang onto the tag, she's notorious for tossing them. My sis also... I told her maybe *I'd* want to show it someday for her and *I'd* need the darn tag! LOL!!! She was annoyed a couple weeks later, when she told me it lost its' blooms much faster than her noID purple ones, but I was over there the other day and it is still blooming nicely. I should take a pic of it maybe.

I think, though I don't grow but a few (I've recently gotten into the species a bit,) it is always nice to have a Phal or two in bloom. My bright magenta Dtps. went out of bloom several weeks ago (blooming since April.) I got a new one for my b-day though. I think it is a Phal. Brother Green Jade. Slight fragrance. Have not had a sunny enough day to even try to photograph.
