Paph. tigrinum shealth keep blasting!!

I need help with Paph. tigrinum. My bud keep blasting/flower shealth and it's seceond year in a row. I grow mine under light and under intermediate condition. How do i keep it from happening again. Do you give the plant a rest once the flower shealth come out?? Move to cooler room?

The spike will take months to develop. During those time, don't let the sheath get wet at all and keep the air moving.

Someone I know that has bloomed tigrinum successfully says that a dry period several weeks after the bud bump appears is necessary and that too much water will cause the bud to blast.

Thanks. The shealth is almost dry up right now and there is no sign of any 'bud-bump' on the growth. The plant has 8" LS + 2 new growths. I'm not sure if it's just empty shealth or the bud will ever show up.

Guess i'll have to pay extra attention next time.
