i'm a a fan of Ladybugs too...esp as I don't really like using all those chemicals in the garden.
eerytime i think or see ladybugs, i remember that movie with the ladybug which is a boy... so funny!
Family picture. This four guy stop by and said hi after I mowed the lawn.
My dove come back and laid egg on my cattleyas again. I manage to took one picture during the shift change![]()
That is really neat! I guess the nest doesn't harm the cattleyas.
Beautiful pictures! Wow I love the fact that the dove lays her eggs in your Catt ...
Oh your Sandhill Cranes are beautiful, and 2 babies I hope that they raise them, they are horrible parents. The doves are persistent and I have finally hung an empty basket lined with screen for them to use instead of my orchids. They take the move quite well even when I have to move the nest and eggs too.

I don't think the dove hurt the cattleyas. This is the third time it laid egg. Every time I water it just look and me and didn't fly away. The most I worry about is the egg when I water the plant.
make sure the ants don't drive away your ladybug
Few days ago I went outside and saw one of the birth feeding it baby. Other two picture I think it the hummingbird moth the resting on my Hibiscus.
