My Amaryllis

This is my plants favourite (of course, orchid is number one). The spike had 4 flowers and the flowers turn to 4 directions, so that we call them "4 directions" but sometime they had 5 flowers...

Beautiful ours currently has nce swollen seed pods that we are waiting to mature to plant the seeds but apparently they can take 3-5 years to flower from seed but we are going to give it a go. We got it from a store reduced iin january most of them had grown in the box and wound around themselves but this one graced us with 3 beautiful flowers, Maybe next year we can get some more, the colours on yours are beautiful, I cant help but love amaryllis

Very nice, the red one is especially pretty. I am envious. I have one like in the second picture, but it did not get flowers this year, only leaves.

i've been wanting to buy an amaryllis myself however the wife always tends to pickup
orchids hehe. lovely blooms btw.

I thinks like as you said, hahaha.You're opposite to me, my wife always tend to pickup other species while I always love

dont get me wrong i love orchids too, actually i want more, its just that there are also
other plants that are as pretty as orchids, amaryllis and stargazer comes to mind. we've
already got a stargazer, be getting some amaryllis soon.

The problem with my wife is that her definition of orchids are only limited to Dendrobiums
and Vandas, if it is not one of the 2 then its not a orchid to her. hehe, but she's learning
now we have a few phals and paphs as well. Oh ans she bought me a cattleya also hehe.
