cymboglossum... hmm, I know nothing of latin, however going by other genera... if cymbidium was from the word cymba meaning boat, and glossum (ie odontoglossum = tooth tongue) is from glossa meaning tongue... then maybe the etymology of the name refers to the labellum being shape like a boat!

Yes it is a Dendrobium cymboglossum ,Sektion Calcarifera.
Not Cymbidium.
collected in 1895 ,99 years before description from Wood and Cribb in 1994.
