I am a new member to the group. I do have a specific question, however. I have several varieties of orchids, but better than half of them are Phals. (9, to be exact) I live in mid-michigan and have a lovely west window. I noticed the Phal leaves getting dark in color, and gather that the window is too sunny for them ( over 2000). What can I use to create the necessary shade (what can I use to filter the sunshine for at least the summer months) for at least half of the window.
