Yellow p-bulb why?

What's wrong with my Onc. ornithorhynchum? The p-bulb yellowed the last week after I repotted it. The skewer I had in the medium came out fuzzy but the medium is now and when I pulled the guy out of the pot there was no fuzziness. The roots are not in in a very good shape but it shouldn't start cancelling p-bulbs I don't think?

Just looks like an old backbulb dying off. Nothing to worry about if it's the only one yellowing.

Ditto to the above post it probably is was the skewer that was breaking down not the mix ..

I'd agree with the above. As long as the p-bulb isn't squishy...you should be okay.

Hopefully it is the old p-bulb. Looks like it is about time for that one too. Don't cut it out of the pot. Let it die off naturally if you can stand the sight of it. The plant is pulling the nutrients out of it. It will eventually be released from the roots and can be pulled out of the pot.
