Repotted neo (now properly)

I've just repotted my neo falcata in a proper pot. I hope I did it properly since it's not too stable and the sphag is just draped around it.

Well, it looks good to me. Did you see RonYN's Neo Repotting Article? It might give you some pointers to make it more stable.

Looks like you did a nice job! With new root growth it will stabilize. I find that I need to repot these yearly

Might this be a spike? Fingers crossed.
It's not putting out any roots at all, should I be worried?

I don't recall spikes emerging that direction. My recollection is that they bloom between the leaves facing laterally.
Mine are all producing new roots. This time of the year I keep them constantly moist.

I think this will be a late bloomer. The bud has moved 2mm from yesterday so it looks like it might still make it. That said, it's not really that warm here yet.
