Paph. Berenice!

So thrilled with this plant that I bought this morning at the local farmer's market!!! It is Paph. Berenice a cross of lowii x philippinense. It has 9 flowers on 2 spikes, in a 6" pot with 10 growths, several new to bloom next year. The vendor is going out of buisness and had reduced the price of all the plants, so I got this awesome plant for $30!!!

As thrilled as I am that I could buy it on such a sale, it is a shame that the guy is having to close his buisness.

yeah, it's a shame that the business is closing down.. poor guy... it would have been better i guess if it was just a "Need More Space Sale".

well, best you can do is treat Berenice well, and keep the plant thriving... then in a few years if the business wants to start again, you can sell him a division back for $35 dollars (yes, I know, I can be really nortie sometimes )
