Do my cattleya have some virus?

Here's some pictures of my mini catts and all the new growth go black after a few weeks, what am I doing wrong? Are they sick? Do they not get enough water? I'm lost at this point, I've tried letting them dry more, and keeping them wetter but nothing seems to help.

If the leaves are soft and black, then I think it's fungal rot and you should remove the infected plants from where you have the others and make sure to disinfect any common areas. Watch closely and remove plants at the first sign of the rot. It can spread very very quickly.

That looks like it could be a poor root issue as well.

The first picture (top left) looks to me like over-fertilization and/or a fert built-up in the pot.
The plant pushes the the excess mineral to the end of the leaves, usually the emerging leaves more than the old ones.

Exactly, that is what I think, due to over or underwatering, your catts have lost their roots and hence are dehydrated, the black thing is a fungal rot. I think its time for you to embrace water culture and try and save them, its a SOS.

They do look water starved. I would unpot and see what is going on with the roots. It doesn't look like a virus, but really the only way to tell it to have the plant tested. I am betting on root problems.
