I seem to have difficulty with this species. Most years the spike blasts. The terminal end of this one blasted but I did get a couple of flowers. Any idea where my problem lies?

I think this in now Zelenkoa onusta: needs bright light and plenty of water while in growth and after blooming they need rest with no water or fertilizer until new growth appears. I just bought Zelenkoa onusta a few weeks ago so I still have no experience...
Thanks Branka...it could be it is not staying wet enough when in spike. Yes I was aware of name change but was too lazy to look it up...lol
