Here is a NOID vanda. It is quite fragrant during the day.
The top photo was taken the day I bought the plant. My source planted it under double shade cloth.
The second photo was taken 3 months later, during its first bloom under my care. The flowers looked quite different. Had it not been for its position and that familiar sweet scent, I wouldn't have recognized it.
I planted it with no shade cloth and where it gets direct sunlight from 8AM all the way to 4PM.

Orchids, especially light loving vandas, really respond well to increased brightness when they have been neglected. Nice growing!!
