I tried to self Eurychone galandrae but to no avail. We put on quite a bit of growth this year in the way of roots, so maybe next year it will have more strength to hold a pod or self impregnate itself? I very much want this species more available as Im sure you notice that no one has it, but if you do! I will gladly send you pollen or send me pollen to conserve this beauty.
Currently growing it in our warm greenhouse amongst Cattleya strength light.
Plus Eurychone rothchildianum for good measure, we have a large one growing close the galeandrae. This one I have been growing in our unheated greenhouse with minimum temperatures in lower 40*. Consequently with that difference it bloomed in November instead of the July like the one in a heated greenhouse (which would be on time with literature).
