New to Orchids - REALLY need help...

I got this Orchid about 5 months ago, it grew well for about a month and then all the flowers fell off followed by the bottom leaf. I read that this wasn't too much cause for alarm and kept watering when the moss went dry.

In the past month I have kept it at a north facing window, around 70-75 degrees, and watered with OrchidPlus fertilizer. However, one of the leaves started with faint yellowing and has rapidly progressed to wilted yellow and leathery (see images)

I was wondering if there was any hope in saving this plant at all. Please help.

The thin plastic pot you have it in along with the sphagnum moss is likely your problem. Those pots don't drain well and the moss holds moisture. I personally can't stand them. I would suspect the plant's roots are rotting. I would remove the plant from the moss to take a look at the roots, remove any rotted roots, and repot in a potting medium and pot that provides more drainage and air circulation around the roots. Feel free to post photos of what you find and we can better assist you.

when you have removed the plant from the pot, carefully pull the moss from around the roots. Then soak the roots in tepid water for about 10 to 15 minutes. After their soaking, live roots should be plump and firm when gently squeezed. Any mushy roots should be cut off before repotting. You may find ALL the roots have rotted away. If so, read up on the water culture postings and think about giving that a try.
