Default The Phal that started it all!

This is the most special Orchid that I have as this is the very first one I ever owned, received as a gift from my wife about 3 and half years ago. It has been mistreated, nearly killed, but thank God it made it. Don't get me wrong...I did kill a few others on the way This one started it all, as now I have about 36 Orchids and growing. I just love this hobby. It is so great and I have to add that I am very thankful for this wonderful forum and members as I learned a lot from reading and asking. Keep up the good job guys !

Beautiful phal. I know how you feel. My first orchid was a white phal that I still have after 6 years and now 125 orchids later is still my favorite when in bloom. You have done well with yours. Congratulations!

Wow, 6 years and 125 orchids! That gives me an idea as to an interesting way of how to measure your "addiction level". I would say I got my first orchid in 2003 or 2004 and now have 30 orchids. That gives me about a level 5 addiction. Gardenguy gets a level 20 or so...

Though as a windowsill grower, space is of course the limiting factor, not my actual addiction control or anything. ;-)

So who's next to confess their addiction level? Number of years divided by number of plants!
