Enc. cochleada 'Green Hornet' had 7 spikes and about 35 blooms!

wow your grow are must be full of colors with these bloomers.... i especially liked the
enc. cochleata.
thx, Randy, it is one of my faves. It is potted mostly in rock with a little bark in a wood basket.
Tami, Nice Bloomers ! lol I'm fond of the first one,love the contrast of the white and pinkish/purple and the yellow throat. I'm thinking that my plants outside are not getting enough sun? I have several with sheaths, but none of my cattleya are currently in bloom.

Thx, Rich. The first one is the very first orchid I got. You can see how it was mistreated at first in the 2006 pic! thanks to OT, she made it. It does seem that abundant sunlight is key for blooming. PS - she has a luscious fragrance too!
Thx, Bruce. Big Momma takes up a lot of room in the orchid house but she is worth it!
