I admire this orchid as it blooms like an alarm clock every year in mid- September! Also, I think it is divine growing on this small piece of wood
and yet producing 3 spikes!!! Enjoy.
Cheers, Michael

This may just make me a Tulumnia lover!! Very nice.

That is beautiful, Michael. I have recently purchased a sylvestri (tolumnia) but it has not bloomed yet. I noticed that you have yours in full sun...can you tell me a little more about its "culture?" Thanks...Betty :-)
Hi Betty,
Mine likes partial sun (not too hot and not too many hours) and AVOID over-watering!!!!
Otherwise easy going in a warm and humid climate. Good luck!
Cheers, Michael

Thanks, Michael... Mine is mounted also, so I am going to move it outside today to receive partial sun. It is supposed to be very fragrant; hope yours is too...Betty :-)
I had a couple tolumnia awhile back that I lost due to bugs...but they were the easiest growing and blooming plants. I'll replace them when I find a couple I like again. I like the color on yours...
Well-grown plant Michael.Love the colour and the skirt.
neat plant michael!
I like the color. I have killed a number of these. lol. I have one that is still hanging on by a thread. Hopefully it will make it.

Bruce, go speak to it and encourage it... it works wonders when plants are struggling to survive! Serious!
