Hello everybody

I just moved to Bohol, Philippines and starting to collect Orchids. Right now I have roughly 30 plants and no clue about the kind, name or habit they need to grow. I got most of them from neighborhood gardens and street dealers.
It's very exciting to watch tbe Orchids grow, see the flowers the color and shape.
I love to meet somebody who is interesting to help me to identify my plants.

Hi Hubie! great to have you join us! If you could take some pictures of the plants and post them on te forum, there is bound to be someone here that can identify them for you then you can get a greater understading of their growing conditions, instead of relying on the usually incorrect information of street vendors, unless they themselves are growers or commercial growers.

Sounds like the Phillipines and Florida have something in common....lots of no name orchids and lovely humid weather that they love. Welcome to the group. Can't wait to see the pictures of your plants.
