The smallest Phal in the world..blink and you'll miss it. It is quite rare and its not something you can find at your local orchid nursery or show. The flower is not more than 1cm in diameter and only lasts less than a week. Mine had 3 spikes at one point with one flower blooming after the other, however 2 of the spikes have now turned brown and this is the last spike left. The colour of the flower has also changed dramatically and if you can see in the photo, the usually strong purple lines on the flower have mostly receded with only faint traces of the lines. Does anyone who is growing this have any advice on whether I should cut off the old spikes and then let it rest for a while before encouraging further blooms?![]()
