Ascda Yeo Bee Beck

Last year this was the most floriferous "vanda" I have ever had in terms of flowers on the plant ; not so many this year although it will probably be 20 or 21 when all th buds are open. But bigger flowers this year ; last year the largest was about 6cm. This year its nearer 8. I expect that the top flowers when open will be a bit less. Unusual colouring and patterning for an Ascda ( in my collection at least). Makes me think of the black-current ice-cream I tried to make once...

Very nice Geoff. Flower this one myself this year but not this ones standard, plant too small.

BTW. Ascda Yeo Geck Bee is the name. ( 'Lavender Lady' )

The pattern and color is more vanda-like than I usually see on an Asco. Quite nice.
