one more species from this beautiful country. Unfortunately I don't know the name.
That should be Phreatia plantaginifolia, which was formerly known as P. secunda. See how the flowers try to face in one direction? That's what we call a 'secund' behavior, and is the source of the species name in P. secunda.
I was just confused, because the flowers of Phreatia secunda in the Jim book, are white and my plant shows a more greenish flowers. But so far I'm with you. Thanks.
This is actually a very widespread species, and as with many widespread living things, there are always variations. Nevertheless, most specimens I have seen have greenish flowers.
you are right. I have seen this species two times, first on Mindoro island and later on Samar island.
This is beautiful Mieczyslaw.
