Great idea Geoff. Thanks for the pictures. I will try this with my cattleyas too.
You have a beautiful Greenhouse. The roots on that first cattleya are awesome. Good growing.
How and how often do you water your mounted Cattleyas? I'm asking sinceI've just tried the same with a couple of my C's in my cabinet.

Wonderful Geoff! Your greenhouse looks massive! How large is it?
IN the summer ( between the two equinoxes) pretty well every day. When we have that very rare thing in UK - a heat wave - as often as I can ! In the winter - every other day perhaps , but I am not too fussy. If I am away for a week between October and February I am happy to leave them alone unsprayed. If longer, I get someone to do them a couple of times a week. In the summer, if I am away, my "locum" will do them 4 or 5 times in the week.
I officially have greenhouse envy.![]()
beautiful work and no more repotting
Awesome setup, both in plants, and the green house itself. What type of limbs are you using, just local limbs or some purchased from somewhere else?
