I bought a lovely new orchid from my new favorite store. However it didn't even have a tag on it. Any guesses on what it is?

Prettty blooms! It looks like a Miltassia.
I would guess miltassia (cross between a miltonia and a brassia) also. I have two, and grow them like an oncidium.
Very pretty, by the way!

Thanks guys! big help.
Kmac do you know if the stems need to be cut to bloom again on these guys?
When the flowers die, you can cut the spike back. The plant will start to put a new growth with a new pseudobulb, and the next spike will come from that growth.
Miltassia Cairns 'Haiku Monarch'.
Thanks Geoff for the ID, lovely bloom.
I have been looking for this one actually ! I have Cairns "Barrier Reef" which is also very good, but with rather less patterning on the petals. The nice thing about (some of) these Miltassias is that they will reliably double spike, and often give two new growths per bulb too - when you get things to their liking.
I find they do well in my S/H conditions.
Good identification Geoff!! Thanks.
Cheers,

Well, Josh gosh begosh (don't you love saying that?!), I can see why you have a new favorite store, with something like this available!
