Sorry, Gin, I didn't meant to offend you.
You didn't Tanya . I just decided to get rid of the picture , all is well![]()
Whew!! I thought I really got you mad this time.
How about putting the pic back? I haven't got one like it.... well, I got a Rhynchostylis in the bag, but haven't done anything since December. I could show the pic of yours to it to encouraged it to grow at least a root.

Louis , you know after 40 first the eye sight goes... then everything else lol . I had a picture posted with the wrong name , I deleted it . It probably is an aerides thanks Jumpluff for a push in the right direction . Will dig into it later . Gin
Hi Gin,
I saw it briefly last night, and thought what a wonderful looking plant! It may or may not be a rhyncostylis, but it sure was pretty. Both Rhyncostylis and Aerides have species that have flowers that hang down. I can't recall the shape of the leaves coz that could also help in ID'ing the plant. From memory, it looked like a Rhyncostylis retusa... seems also like a very variable species in terms of colour...
Good luck with the ID of the plant.
Cheers
Tim
