Who knows much about light bulbs around here? I'm considering ordering a red/blue LED grow light that's a PAR38 shape. I understand this is a wide, spotlight-looking bulb. I'm hoping to buy an inexpensive clip desk light and clip that above the plants I want to light. Should this PAR38 fit a normal light bulb socket? I know the bulb itself may be too wide for some little desk lights' "hoods," but should the socket fit? I envision myself taking my grow light all over town til I find a light it will fit into. Store employees will love me.
