Erectile problems with my Phragmipedium leaf

I have just got a Phragmipedium Mont Fallu and I am happy to say that it appears to be in spike. I have I believe two growths from smaller mature fans. One I can see clearly as it is almost exposed but the other is just a small opening right at the bottom of the crown. My problem is that I have a droopy leaf which doesn't remain erect when I move it from it's support. It used to be turgid and firm but now it flops over when I move it away from the support of my window frame wall. I have kept the rockwool moist and I have fertilised using the correct dosage. I have enclosed some pics so you can see what I mean.

Any ideas as to what is causing this would be greatly appreciated.

Well Betty it is getting full daylight all throughout the day. I have it in a south east / south west facing window. Normally I would have thought that if it wasn't flowering it would be due to light levels but as I said I have got possibly two spike forming so I don't think it could be light levels.

The floppy leaf might be due to humidity and/or underwatering

I thought that it could be under watering as another smaller leaf did it the other day but it is o.k now. I have changed my watering habits but I am still waiting for the leaf to return to where it should be. Humidity is somethihng that I have heard about before so I think that could be a reason. Is it too much or too little do you think?

That Phrag looks great to me. I think the leaf just got too big to stay straight. Anyway, if it stays straight over four hours, you need to get it to the hospital er, ah greenhouse? Whatever..

Steady on there! So basically it looks o.k then. It's just that it used to be more 'proud' shall we say and then it became flaccid -I know. It is so hard - I'm sorry, not to sound 'rude' when discussing this delicate situation. However I will watch it and see if there are any other develpments. Thank you for commenting.

I wouldn't actually call it flaccid, just a natural bent due to its length. It looks healthy and rigid enough. Maybe it's all in the mind and I wouldn't worry if I were you as it seems to be performing its function ie. putting out spikes.

All in the mind huh? lol. O.K then. That seems to be the general consensus that it is just a natural bend. I haven't seen phrags do this before so I was just concerned about it. I will now stop worrying though. Thank you for your help.
