This one is flowering for quite some time:
Wow!
Love that dramatic lip on the pure white background. Just beautiful Branka. AL
Lovely, but I would question if it was pure stuartiana. The shape of the lip and spotting don't look quite right for the true species.
Susan
i agree with Susan, the entire labellum shape suggests a hybrid.
still nice and showy though!
Maybe a hybrid between Phalaenopsis aphrodite and Phalaenopsis stuartiana as Phalaenopsis Ariadne registered by Veitch 1896.
I have seen this orchid as natural hybrid from Mindanao.
Very lovely. I have a couple of Phal stuartiana 'Sogo' that I hope might bloom this winter.
Cheers,
Tony
Yes, this one is a hybrid, that's why its name is written with capitalIt was bought last year on some orchid show as a species, costed me quite a lot, but as the first flowers were opened I was warned this is a hybrid. It's a pitty I don't know about parentage, but I do like it anyway!

This one is awesome, love the blooms and their shape![]()
