This is a funny little bloom. You see many undertones of several colors from blue, purple, pink and salmon. All depends on the age of the bloom as to what color is more prevalent. Very prolific bloomer.

You have a wonderful collection of vandacous orchids. Congatulations on another beauty. I see 'Peggy Foo' in a lot of crosses. I wonder what it was about that vanda that made it so desirable for breeding?
Cute blooms there, Cathy! It can be quite cool to have flowers change through a range of colors -- especially when there are a large number of them of different ages
Congrats Cathy. Very beautiful bloom, I love the many ranges in colour.
I WANT it ! hehe Awesome blooms !
Love the first photo of this orchids blooms, Cathy! You really captured so many variations in color in the blooms. (not easy to do!)
cheers,

Lovely blooms. Vasco Tham Yuen Hae does have this tendency to impart the 'undertones' that you mentioned to its progenies. Depending on the angle and quality of the light it is really very difficult to describe the colour of the blooms, let alone try to capture the 'correct' colour on camera.
Hi Cathy your environment are conducive to grow vandas, so take these opportunity to get more vandas species in your collection.Gorgeous blooms.
Very very nice, Cathy! Love the fuchsia coming through!
