    Default Cymbidium dayanum in bloom

I've had this cymbidium for more than a year. I bought it from an orang asli (our aborigines) who was selling jungle produce in a makeshift, palm-thatched shelter by the side of the road to the our highland resort in the Cameron Highlands. I bought a few orchids off him mostly Coelogynes and this Cymbidium with not much hope that the cymbidium particularly would bloom in the lowlands. However it has surprised me with 2 spikes. Though not as showy and exotic as other cymbidiums, I'm still very happy with it, this being only my second cymbidium and the first cym species.

    Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Since it's warm growing, I need to get one for myself.

This Cymbidium is quite widespread in Asia and should be easily available.
