    Default Paph Hsinying Rubyweb

    I am happier with this bloom than with the last. The flowers are a little larger, more colorful, and not so crooked. Well the first to open isn't crooked...

    Thanks for looking and for the nice compliments! Connie, I find these super easy...I just have to remember to water them as they take more water than any of my others really. And they actually like repotting.

    That would explain why I keep killing mine then. Not enough water...and they like repotting??

    I have mine potted in a mix of sphag, charcoal, and a phal mix that contains bark, peat, and perlite. I keep them moist all the time...relatively warm. Phal temps I suppose. And maybe I should have said that they respond well to repotting. I repot annually because of their moisture requirements. The fact that they are sympodial helped me quite a bit at first! At least with the sympodials, one slipup isn't necessarily a death sentence.
