I bought two of my first paphs a couple months ago. Here is one of them in bloom.
The second will follow as soon as I get a decent picture of it!

Lovely LuAnn
I never thought of Paphiopedilium's as this pristine looking until now. Very beautiful, fine flowers! AL
Very beautiful! Love the presentation of the flowers on the spike.
LuAnn - amazing slipper orchid!! Nice!

So simple, yet SO beautiful! Great bloom. Looking forward to seeing your other Paph has to offer us.
A very unusual Deperle ; I have never see an almost perfecly white one, but then pefectly white delanatii ( one of the parents) are pretty unusual too. In fact Deperle was bred with the aim of getting a perfect pink - and they too are rather rare - usually they are somewhere in between with some parts of the flower the colour wanted, and other parts not so. But always lovely.
You have a good clone there ;see what you local AOS awards committee think of it - shoiuld be at least HCC , maybe better . Give it an appropriate clonal name to point the judges in the right direction - "Chrtistmas Snow" perhaps !
wow..I had no idea it was something special. I was excited just to see it bloom. When I bought it, it was in spike but no indication of what the blooms were going to look like. How does one go about showing this to an orchid committee?? I believe our local society meets the second Tues of every month. Would I contact someone at a meeting? Can you tell I'm quite a novice about these things...lol....thankyou for the help!
Time you joined ! Take it along and see what they think, they will be able to tell you how to go about it where you are.
