Thanks Bill, hope you can find a good replacement!
Alex
Alex, I coveted this plant many years ago. I remember when you had to be RICH to afford one. I wanted one so bad and could not afford one for years. In thinking back I wonder what happened to my plant? I haven't had one for years.
Lovely blooms. Congrats on them!
Congrats Alex ! I consider 'Emerald Isle' the best of Ports of Paradise. I have the 'Gleneyrie's Green Giant' var.
Lovely cattleya!! Blc. Ports of Paradise is an excellent hybrid that produces such beautiful, large blooms. Congratulations!
cheers,

Thanks everyone! Cathy, I got my plant for free! I had a coupon.![]()
Hope you can find a good one. Thanks Zainal for the comment!
Thanks Bruce, smells good too!
Thanks Cathy, hope you can find one!
Thanks Yew, I saw several cultivars, the emerald Isle is my favorite!

Alex, you forgot something...It should read FCC/AOS immediately after Emerald Isle. This means: First Class Certificate. This orchid is truly the best of the best. Now, go put that FCC/AOS on the tag! You got yourself a real deal...Betty

Hi Alex your Ports of Paradise is beautiful. I have the same one according to the tag but I "think" mine has a more fimbriated lip. Sorry I don't have a picture of it
I also notice the stems holding up the flowers on mine are very weak and have to be supported but a beautiful flower regardless. Do you guys have the same problem?
