    Cool Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi

    When I bought this a couple years ago, I assumed it would die like all the other species phalaenopsis I had tried to grow. This one seems to like it's place among the vanda types. I keep it a little shaded, but it can take the sun levels higher than some of my cattleya. It is one tough little plant.

    As you can see, I did a little experiment and potted this one in big chunks of styrofoam. So far so good...

    Cornu-cervi is a tolerant species which could grow and bloom very well with strong light (I grow mine in these conditions).
    Congratulations for this "non dying" Phal. species blooming.
