Foliage a bit damaged by the sun ; I am a layer of shade short , especially for the wall-to-wall sunshine we have had for the last week and a half, but with my currently poor sight, and a stiff wind blowing ( keeping shade temperatues down to say 25 here) I can't put any more on at present. Eight spikes with an average of 3 1/2 blooms per spike , and all a bit smaller than they might be- rather poor for what the plant can do ( should be 5+ ) but the plant was put into S/H a year ago , and is still improving. Could be M. Robert Pattison my memory suggests, but in this genus there are usually several hybrids looking the same, with different names.
