Another of my weenies. If orchids were sold by the pound ( or kiloigramme) weight - and if the going rate for a cymbidium FS in flower is say US $40 ? this one would cost about 2 cents ; alas - life is not like that, and whilst it was not $40 , it was not cents either... Still I can't imagine that the breeder sold very many. Only a few real nuts like me buy little sweeties like this , and unless my eyes improve a lot ( which they are expoected to) after my forthcoming op', maybe I'll give up on the tiny ones too.
Maybe it will have more flowers next time - I think this is the first flowering since leaving the flask.
The tape measure reads in centimetres at the lower edge, and inches at the upper edge, btw.

I like it. Are the spots on the orchid plant normal (I mean for Gastrochilus orchids) or is that a result of light?

cause if not for your 'weenies' collection as you call em I'd never get to see these minis.
All the best to your wife, and you take it easy on the bottle. Don't want you naming the poor plant "Itsy-bitsy, tiny-weenie, yellow polka dot bikini" or something redonkulous like that.
