    Default L. itambana

This is a rupicolous (rock loving) laelia with flowers roughly the size of of a quarter.I fell in love with this group quite a few years ago It just opened & looks like some other growths will be blooming as well as they mature. This blooms every year for me around this time.

I meant to add in my 1st post that I stuck my nose in the blooms & this is the 1st time that I have ever noticed that it had a fragrance--quite spicy! (I've had this plant since 1999 )
