    Default Vandachostylis Colmarie

This is the third reblooming in my care. The arrangement of the blooms on the first blooming was sort of 'haphazard' with flowers facing each and every way. the second blooming was better but thrips spoilt more than than half of the blooms. This time the presentation is much better but I have no time to take proper pictures of the blooms as I'll be going on a two weeks holidays tomorrow. The blooms are a very dark chocolate purple - almost black.

A lot of my orchids are in bloom but the incessant rains have prevented me from taking pictures of them. Apart from this I'm posting pictures of 3 other orchids that I managed to photograph this evening- the only fine day we've had.

Gorgeous! I've almost bought one of these a few times. I love the dark color.

What a rich, luxurious color! So glad your display prospered this year - You need to get yourself an indoor photo studio set-up, Yew - we can't be missing all your gorgeous blooms just because it won't stop raining!

I have one, it was one of the first vanda types i bought and I guess not a good plant for a beginner, 4 years later it's still alive but never bloomed, I'm hoping this year, is it fragrant?

I have several clones and they don't bloom well for me, either but when they do POW! And the fragrance is luscious.
