    Default Dendrobium spurium, only a few hours...

    I was in a bit of a rush today, before I start preparing for work when I noticed the bloom had already opened.

    I guess I shall be late for work, as it lasts for only a few hours.
    This plant has a solitary flower maybe twice a year.

    Beautiful photography and nice flat shaped flower with nice colour contrast between the pink and green... what a pity the flowers don't last very long... does it bloom often?
