    Default Another milky Encyclia

Hello friends. To continue: Last year I posted a photo of my Encyclia radiata; this is now getting to be quite a muscular specimen with four new leads, I am happy to say. Well: here is my similar E lancifolia which is a more petite plant, but just as floriferous and even more highly scented. (A more floral aroma, not unlike hyacinths)

I have expanded my Encyclia collection greatly (they tend to be quite modest sized plants) and I await developments! I shall keep you posted: just in case anyone else out there likes Encs... well, you never know

Beautifully photographed Igor. A very lovely Enc. With all those Encylia's your GH must smell heavenly.

Thank you TEENA! and thank you everyone. Well, at the moment it is the floofie Catts which provide the fragrances... the Encs are kind of out of season here... they begin in the new year: great to look forward to! Life would be sad without these plants.

What a lovely photo, Igor! The composition and lighting are just exquisite. I have an E. fragrans (from a friend in the UK) that I am coaxing to bloom for me (no signs yet). The fragrant encyclias are so delicious!

By the way - I always ask if I think of it - what camera equipment do you use?

I love encyclias, what they lack in size and color make up in the abundance ! This one is very pretty.
