are they hard to grow (for a beginner)?

to me they are as easy as other orchids, for catasetums you just need to acknowledge that catasetums have a dormant phase, during this phase they need minimal watering and no fertilizer. during the active growing phase, fertilize them accordingly. they love bright growing area like cattleya lighting. media with good drainage and aeration are essential.
