Cool Ascovandoritis (Doritis pulcherrima x Ascocenda pralor)

I have wanted one of these and found a nice big healthy one at the nursery shopping with my mom. I think the color of these flowers is amazing. It is very difficult to photograph these as they reflect any light available. The first picture was taken yesterday, and it was gloomy and cloudy, yet the flower looks as if it is being lit up by a bright sun. It took three rounds of pictures to get a couple good ones.

Oh, that's GORGEOUS!!! I've long wanted a Doritis/Vandaceous cross...I find the flower forms to be just beautiful, and I imagine the Doritis influence would make it a bit more free flowering than just a straight Vandaceous variety. Although seeing that I haven't actually flowered any of my Vandaceous orchids yet, this could just be a bit of biased guessing on my part...
