Phal sunburned leaves

Need help all the leaves of my phal got sunburned. Left it in the East window of our porch it has no screen. It gets direct sun until 10am. I forgot to bring all of my Phil inside when we left for 2 days.the other 4 is OK this one is the worst. Anything I can do to save it? Should I cut the leaves? I cannot post picture still trying to figure out how. I am in the Philippines.

Hi @missfitxo! I'm from the Philippines too.

When you are writing a post, there are icons above the windows and you just click the frame icon (third from the last). Then you will be asked to upload the photo you want. I hope it helps!

I would suggest you care for it normally. you will not be able to reveres the impact. allow the phal to handle the sunburn leaves and It would drop it naturally.

Will it survive even if all the leaves fall off? The blooms are doing ok but not sure if its helping it.

Depending on the remaining tissue provided no secondary infection should be ok, all the best.

I'd say leave them as they are. If you remove them there will be no leaves left. Hopefully it will start growing a new leaf and then after it does, you may consider removing the burnt leaves.

There is always hope. This one grew back for me after suffering both crown and root rot as well as severe mechanical damage.

Thank you for all the advice. I hope it will be ok. They said Phal is the easiest to grow and take care, for me its difficult. Been successful with almost all orchids from wild to hybrid but not Phal. I love Phal. unfortunately it don't like me.
