Cattleya intermedia (coerulea x 'Blue Freckle')

This is one of my more compact growing Cattleya. The blue comes through when the light is right. It isn't a dark blue, more of an ethereal delicate blue. The petals have nice substance and a "feathered" edging at the tips, with only a few of it's "freckles" showing through. I wasn't super in love at first but it really grew on me. Now with it's simplicity, it is one of my new favorites. I have trouble with most intermedia...someone must have forgotten to tell this one. lol
